Countryside Leaders Award
Need to get yourself or staff qualified to run Bronze and Silver DofE? The Countryside Leader Award is AALS recognised and unlike other courses takes 6 days (2 weekends) in total to become qualified.
This is particularly of benefit to school staff, as it is less time consuming and generally cheaper than equivalent courses. In short the Countryside Leader Award has 3 main sections to it; 3 days of training, a consolidation period and 3 days of assessment.

Courses are £150pp for training and £150pp for assessment. Courses are generally based within the Peak District, however I can run them further afield if required, providing travel costs are met.
DofE Supervisor
If you are in need of a supervisor for Bronze, Silver or Gold DofE then you have come to the right place! Drawing on years of supervision experience and having been a DofE Centre Manager myself your participants are in safe hands. Although I do not currently hold a AALA license and I am not currently an AAP, however I can provide supervision if your establishment has planned the sessions and I am needed to simply make ratios. This is great should you require last minute cover. Full guidance on this can be found on the AALA Inspector Notes, document 4.01 – Schools employing external instructors. Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE Assessments
Are you in need of an Assessor for your DofE? Tired of paying ridiculous prices to get groups assessed? Get in touch to see what we can do for you. We charge for only fuel and food fees and have access to two Assessors (qualified up to Gold level) should you need. Take a look at the DofE Assessors link in the header for more information.
Navigational Skill Sessions
Need to brush up on your navigational skills? Fancy some night navigation? Navigation in poor conditions? Whether you are completely new to navigating, or simple want to hone your skills, get in touch for a quote.
Mountain & Hill Skill Days
Want to get out more, but don’t have the confidence to do so? I’m a big advocate of getting more people outdoors. Like my Facebook page for the latest skills day dates. These days cover navigation, gear, emergency procedures and whatever other questions that you may have to get yourself out! The days are reasonably priced and have a maximum ratio of 1:6. Please note that any under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. If you can’t find a date to suit, then get in touch.
